THE MIND AND BODY CONNECTION

ENERGY MANIFESTS IN OUR BODIES IN THE MOST PHYSICAL OF WAYS; THIS IS THE LAST THING THAT PEOPLE TEND TO CONSIDER WHEN IT COMES TO HEALING THEIR MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL TRAUMA. ☾ THE BIGGEST THING IN ISOLATING AND HEALING TRAUMA THAT COMES FROM PURITY CULTURE IS REALIZING THE WAYS THAT IT HAS TAKEN UP RESIDENCE IN YOUR PHYSICAL BODY. THIS CAN MEAN A MILLION DIFFERENT THINGS FOR THE INDIVIDUAL BECAUSE IT DEPENDS ON HOW YOU, AS YOUR OWN PERSON, INTERNALIZED IT. THAT DOESN’T MEAN THAT THERE AREN’T STILL A LOT OF COMMON THREADS WHEN IT COMES TO HOW THAT NEGATIVE ENERGY IS STORED.

☾ THIS MEANS THAT ANYTHING FROM AN UNBALANCED MENSTRUAL CYCLE TO EXTRA CRAMPS, FERTILITY ISSUES, OR TIGHT HIP MUSCLES CAN BE SYMPTOMS OF HOW YEARS OF THAT NEGATIVE ENERGY HAS STORED UP IN YOUR BODY. NOT ALL OF THESE ISSUES ARE CAUSED STRICTLY BY GROWING UP IN PURITY CULTURE AND IT ISN’T NECESSARILY A CAUSATION, EITHER, BUT PAY ATTENTION TO THE CORRELATIONS BETWEEN YOUR ENERGETIC TRAUMA AND PHYSICAL BODY.

☾ IF IT CORRELATES FOR YOU, FOCUS ON HEALING THE BOND BETWEEN YOUR MENTAL AND PHYSICAL. PUT INTENTION IN THE THINGS THAT YOU DO FOR YOURSELF. I’VE HAD INCREDIBLY TIGHT HIP MUSCLES WHICH I ONLY DISCOVERED GOING INTO YOGA; SO NOW, WHEN FOCUSING ON THOSE MUSCLE GROUPS, I ALSO FOCUS ON FREEDOM AND HEALING THE MENTAL PART OF THE EQUATION BY PUTTING INTENTION INTO IT.

☾ CONNECTING THE MIND AND THE BODY IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS THAT YOU CAN DO WHEN IT COMES TO BREAKING OUT OF PURITY CULTURE SINCE IT WAS A CONNECTION THAT WAS SEVERED IN THE FIRST PLACE.
